Construction Update: Creating Foundations

Foundations have been poured here at Lively Lane!

If you’ve passed by Lively Lane lately, you’ll notice that behind our construction fencing signage (installed by our friends at FASTSIGNS), the site is busy! Read on for some brief highlights of construction activity.

With site work still underway, the team has begun installing the underground water, sewer, electrical, and drainage utilities on-site and connecting each into its respective city-wide network. The underfloor plumbing is in place for each home and electrical conduit for the primary service to Lively Lane will follow soon. Additionally, some deep underground site drainage pipes are being installed now, but they won’t be connected into Lively Lane’s biofiltration areas and permeable pavers until the very end of Phase I construction to protect the performance of those systems from other construction activities. 

Concrete crews have poured the first set of foundations and are preparing batter boards for the remaining pours. When you take a look at the construction site, you can begin to see the footprint of each future home.
